FM to visit Ankara on Friday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, will visit Ankara on Friday to discuss developing the mutual relations.

Some Turkish media sources stated “Zebari will head to Ankara on Friday after being confirmed by the visit of the Turkish head of the Foreign Relations Committee within the Turkish parliament to Iraq.”

“Zebari’s visit coincided with the critical regional situation,” the sources concluded.

The development of the Iraqi-Turkish relations stated when the Turkish Premier, Recep Tayyib Erdogan, invited his Iraqi counterpart, Nouri al-Maliki, to Turkey and the latter accepted the invitation.
