Bridge detonation attempt foiled in Babel [10/25/2013]

Babel (IraqiNews.com) A security force foiled an attempt to detonate one of the main bridges of northern Babel.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “A security force within the Explosives Ordinance Disposal Department foiled an attempt to detonate one of the main bridges linking Baghdad and Babel.”

“The denotation attempt was supposed to be done by Improvised Explosive Devices that were emplaced in the basement of the bridge where the security force dismantled them,” the source concluded.
