Sadr accuses political sides of attempting to create sedition for electoral purpose

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, accused certain political sides without naming them of attempting to create sedition for electoral purposes.

In response to a question by one of his followers over killing of some elements of Jaysh al-Mahdi, he said “This crime comes from a supported militia but I urge my followers to avoid responding to such crimes with violence.”

He called “To form a parliamentary committee to stop this militia through laws.”

“Please be aware that some political sides attempt to prepare for their electoral propaganda by creating sedition,” he concluded.
