Bazoni: Some political blocs aim at postponing next elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, stated “The negotiations among the political blocs over the Elections law are unfruitful.”

Bazoni assured to IraqiNews.com “The political blocs have not reached a compromise over the Elections law and we expect adopting the old law with some amendments that harmonize the Kurds’ demands in order to hold the elections on time.”

“There are some political blocs that aim at postponing the elections which is against the interests of the Iraqi people,” he concluded.
