SLC MP rules of endorsing Elections law during Wednesday session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sadiq al-Laban, of the State of Law Coalition ruled out endorsing the Elections law during the parliament session of Wednesday.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “I rule out endorsing the Elections law during the parliament session on Wednesday due to the instsance of the Kurdistani Alliance on its demands,” noting that “The current Elections law will be effective in the next period if the two articles rejected by the Federal Courts are amended.”

“Adopting the old law will settle the disputes because the Kurds are pressurizing the other blocs to get more merits against the interests of the Iraqi people,” he concluded.
