Urgent – ..Religious Authority criticizes Government policies regarding security, services

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Religious Authority, Basheer al-Najafi, harshly criticized the government’s policies regarding the security and services.

In a statement by him recited by his son in the preachers’ conference in Najaf he said “Iraq’s problems are not to be solved without wise policies.”

“We failed in correcting and guiding the ruling figures because they do not listen to us,” he added.

“There are hints over confronting the religious academy (Hawza Ilmiya) by the authorities,” he confirmed.
