Urgent – Political blocs decide not to increase parliament seats

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The heads of the political blocs decided to reject increasing the parliament seats due to the refusal of the Religious Authority.

A parliamentary source stated to (IraqiNews.com) “The heads of the political blocs agreed upon rejecting the increase of the parliament seats according to the call of the Religious Authority and specify only 325 seats including 15 to the quota and seven to the Iraqi National Alliance and the Kurdistani Alliance.”

“The meeting between the heads of the blocs and the parliament chairmanship over the compensative seats is still going on,” the source concluded.
