Basra Governor, Kuwait Prince agree upon inaugurating Kuwaiti consulate in Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Basra Governor, Majid al-Nasrawi, met the Prince of Kuwait, Sabah Jabber al-Ahmed al-Sabah, and they agreed upon to inaugurate a Kuwaiti consulate in Basra province.The Governor’s office reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The meeting resulted in many resolutions such as inaugurating a Kuwaiti consulate in Basra province to address citizens affairs and promote bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait.””Nasrawi emphasized the necessity to promote mutual relations between Iraq and Kuwait by exchanging experiences in all economic, sport, legal and education sectors to encourage investors to contribute in reconstruction process in Iraq,” the statement added. \END\
