Urgent – Head of Anbar PC: Maliki to meet Anbar PC over demonstrators’ demands

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) Head of Anbar Provincial Council, Sabah Karhout, assured that the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, invited the head of the members of Anbar PC for a meeting in Baghdad with him to discuss several issues related to the province.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Maliki invited us to discuss the pending issues and the security situation in the province.”

“The meeting will discuss the demonstrators’ demands and the means to eliminate the current crisis,” he added.

“The invitation was received few days ago officially and the PC is preparing for the meeting that will be held soon,” he concluded.
