9 Intruders arrested, weapons sized at Basra borders

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Interior declared arresting six Iranian intruders and three Iraqi persons while they were attempting to cross the Iraqi-Iranian borders illegally.The Ministry of Interior reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The border guards forces within Basra province carried out many security operations to prevent any infiltration or smuggling operation across the borders.””The security operations resulted in seizing ten boats, 122 mortar shells, three Improvised Explosive Devices and ten electric detonators in addition to arresting six Iranian intruders and three Iraqi persons while they were attempting to cross the Iraqi -Iranian borders illegally,” the statement concluded. \END\
