Maysan official warns from terrorist attacks against Shiite processions

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Chairman of Maysan Provincial Council Jawad Rahim revealed intelligence information about intentions to execute terrorist attacks against the Shiite processions in the province during Muharam Month.

Rahim said to IraqiNews.com “The intelligence information denote the intentions of the terrorist groups to target the Shiite processions by using female suicide bombers.”

“In coordination with the security forces, we took strict precautionary procedures to forbid such schemes,” he added.

The Deputy Chairman of Maysan PC called the citizens of the province to cooperate with the security forces during these days through informing about any suspicious acts.
