IFC rejects Electricity Minister’s objection for investigating him over corruption issues

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Federal Court rejected the objection of the Electric Minister, Abdul Karim Aftan, for investigating him over corruption issues.

MP, Ouday Awad, of the Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee stated to Iraqi News “The IFC rejected Aftan’s objection for the investigation over the corruption issues,” noting that “Aftan should adhere to the decision of the IFC over the investigation.”
