64 Suspects, wanted individuals arrested in Babel

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) About 64 wanted individuals were arrested in various areas of northern Babel province.

The Commander of Middle East Operations Command, Lieutenant General Othman al-Ghanimi, declared in a joint security conference held with Karbala police commander attended by the correspondent of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The security forces of the MEOC carried out many proactive security operations to provide protection during Ashuraa anniversary that resulted in arresting 38 suspects and 26 wanted individuals according to the article (4) of Anti-Terrorism law as well as dismantling a car bomb in Iskandariya area of northern Babel province.”

”The MEOC deployed 35,000 security elements on the areas that surrounds Karbala province,” the statement concluded.
