Turfi stresses necessity of sending 2014 budget law to parliament for endorsement

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Habeeb al-Turfi, of the Citizen bloc called the government to send the 2014 general budget law to the parliament to endorse it.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The delay in endorsing the budget law is caused by the delay in sending it to the parliament by the government,” noting that “The political blocs were strict over discussing this law since October, but unfortunately it was not delivered to the parliament.”

“The Citizen bloc urges the State to ratify this law,” he added, assuring that “The holiday of the parliament will be cancelled in order to endorse this law.”
