Local Mayor injured northern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A local Mayor was injured when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded of northern Tikrit.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED emplaced near the side road exploded, targeting the Mayor’s car while passing through Qadisiyah quarter of northern Tikrit.”

“The Mayor was injured and transported to the nearby hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
