Bomb explodes northern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A child was killed and her parents and brothers were injured due to a bomb explosion to the north of Mosul city.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Tuesday “A bomb, which was emplaced o the roadside of Rashidiya area of northern Mosul, exploded targeting a civilian vehicle travelling through the area,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing a child and injuring her parents and her brothers who were travelling by the vehicle.”

“The explosion also resulted in injuring three children who were accidently close to the explosion site,” the source emphasized.

“Security forces cordoned off the explosion site and transferred the dead body to the morgue and the injuries to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
