Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council denounces Beirut terror blasts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council denounced the blasts that targeted the southern neighborhood in Beirut on Tuesday and resulted in killing and wounding dozens of victims.

The Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The bloody explosions that targeted the Iranian Embassy at the capital of Lebanon, Beirut, is another crime added to the shameful record of Qaeda organization which aims at spreading death and destruction everywhere.”

”The SIC called the Lebanese political blocs to unit together to face terrorists who are attempting to disrupt unity of Lebanon,” the statement added. ”The SIC hopes fast recovery for the wounded people and the patience and mercy for families of martyrs,” the statement concluded.
