Zamili describes Ahrar bloc, Citizen bloc alliance as "Strategic"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hakim al-Zamili, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend described the alliance between his bloc and the Citizen bloc within the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council headed by Ammar al-Hakim, as “Strategic.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Citizen bloc is the closest bloc to the Sadr Trend that we have a strategic alliance with.”

“The recent actions by the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, over contacted the Sadrist figures who split from the Trend, are good actions that unity the Sadrists and settle all the tensions among them,” he concluded.
