President Talabani calls on Iraqi security forces to bring Tharwat Rasheed’s assassins to justice

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The office of the President, Jalal Talabani, called the security forces to bring the assassins of the Deputy Commander of Talabani’s guards, Tharwat Rasheed, to justice.

A presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com cited “We condole the family of the late Rasheed over his death due to a terrorist attack by unidentified gunmen.”

The Presidency called “The security forces to bring the assassinator to justice.”

Earlier, unidentified gunmen stormed into Rasheed’s house who was preparing to head to Germany and assassinate him where they stole some of his possessions.
