Jordanian Government apologizes to Iraq over actions of security elements to Iraqis visiting Jordan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Jordanian government apologized to the Iraqi people over the actions of some Jordanian security elements to the Iraqis who visit Jordan.

A statement by the office of the head of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Humam Hamoudi, stated “Hamoudi met with the Jordanian Premier, Abdul Allah al-Nisour, where they discussed the violations that the security forces do to the Iraqis visiting Jordan.”

“The Jordanian sides assured that such actions are unintended, considering the relations between Iraq and Jordan as historical and never be affected by such actions,” the statement concluded.
