Nijaifi condemns targeting chieftains in Basra, Dhi-Qar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi, condemned the coward assassinations that targeted the chieftains of Ghanim and Rufea tribes in Basra and Dhi-Qar provinces.The media office of Nijaifi quoted him as saying ”We strongly condemn the two assassinations which targeted the chieftain of Ghanim tribal, Sheikh Adnan al-Ghanm, and the chieftain of Rufea tribal, Sheikh Jamal al-Faris, in Nassiriya city.””These assassinations are targeting the unity of Iraqi society and its components in an attempt to tear the community unity,” he added.”The security forces are responsible for these security breaches and proved their failure in protecting the people,” he concluded. \END\
