Iraq, Turkey discuss upgrading diplomatic relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) First Deputy Speaker of the parliament, Qusay al-Siheil discussed with the Turkish parliament Speaker, the enhancement of the bilateral relations.

A statement by Siheil office received by IraqiNews.com cited on Tuesday “Siheil received today, the Turkish Parliament Speaker in Baghdad where they discussed strengthening the parliamentary cooperation as well as the bilateral relations to help stabilize the unrest in the region.”

“Iraq looks forwards to build good relations that are based on reciprocal respect with all the countries especially with the neighboring countries,” the statement added.

“For his part, the Turkish official assured that the constructive ties between the two countries will positively be reflected on the region as a whole as both countries enjoy vital role in the region.”
