Parliament urges AL to enhance Iraqi-Arab relations
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Iraqi Foreign Relations Parliamentary Committee, Rafi’ Abdul Jabbar, urged the Arab League to activate its role in enhancing the relations between Iraq and other Arab countries.
Speaking to Iraqi News, Abdul Jabbar said “The relations between Iraq and other Arab countries are controlled by religious rather than political factors,” noting that “The demographic change which took place in Iraq after 2003 from the political side made some Arab countries end relations with Iraq.”
“The disputes between Iraq and other Arab Countries would not benefit Iraq or Arab Countries,” he concluded.
