Weapons cache discovered northern Maysan

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) A force from Maysan police department discovered a weapons cache to the north of Amara city, the center of Maysan province.

Commander of Maysan Police Department Brigadier Mohamed Jasim al-Zubaidi stated to IraqiNews.com Tuesday “The force discovered a weapons cache that comprises 16 mortar shells, eight detonators and four hand-grenades in Ali al-Sharqi district of northern Amara city.”

“The security forces cordoned off the location and transported the explosives to the headquarter to be dismantled there,” Zubaidi concluded.
