IA soldier killed western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed due to an armed attack to the west of Mosul city.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “A soldier was killed when unidentified gunmen attacked a check point run by Iraqi Army located in Islah Ziraee neighborhood to the west of Mosul city on Saturday.”

“The victim was serving at the surveillance tower when he was shot,” the source added, noting that “The dead body of the IA element was transported to the morgue.”

The gunmen escaped to unknown destination after the attack,” the source concluded.
