Saad criticizes services projects in Basra province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Suzan al-Saad, of Basra province criticized the services projects related to the sewage system.

She stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The officials responsible for the services projects in the province need to be acquainted with the experiences of the other countries to form the networks of the sewage that do not affect the environment.

“The Ministry of Environment conditions to construct stations for the sewage draining away from the drinking water networks which means that we need to make the sewage networks out of Iraq such as in Iran or Kuwait,” she added.

“There are many service projects that are delayed in Basra such as the Drinking Water of Fao area and Zubair Sewage Project that since 2011 and only 30% of the performance is done till this time,” she concluded.
