26 persons killed, injured southern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) 26 persons were either killed or injured when a suicide bomber targeted a police station of southern Tikrit.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “A suicide bomber driving a truck bomb attacked a police station in Dijla district of southern Tikrit to result in killing nine persons and injure 17 others.”

“The explosion resulted in destroying more than 24 residences and shops as well,” the source concluded.
