Maliki, Iranian VC discuss cooperation in combating terrorism, Syrian crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, discussed with the Iranian First Vice President, Isaac Jhangere, the cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and Syrian crisis.

The Premier Media Office reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”After the official reception the two sides hold a wide meeting attended by the delegations of both countries in which they discussed the means of promoting bilateral relations, especially in the fields of energy, gas, construction, transport and the cooperation in combating terrorism.”

”The two sides assured during the meeting that the solution for Syrian crisis should be peaceful away of any military interventions through cooperating in 2 Geneva Conference to solve the Syrian crisis,” the statement added.”The Iraqi Premier is scheduled to meet the Iranian President, Hassan Ruhani, tomorrow, on Thursday,” the statement concluded. \END\
