Pakistani President wishes to visit Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President of the Republic of Pakistan, Mamnoun Hussein, expressed his sincere wish to visit Iraq.

A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Iraqi Ambassador to Pakistan, Rushdi Mahmoud al-Ani, met the President of Pakistan who confirmed the necessity of developing the Iraqi-Pakistani bilateral relations.”

President of Pakistan appreciated the democratic experiment in Iraq which will allow the country to occupy its normal location in the world, the statement added.

The statement mentioned that “The Pakistani President expressed his sincere wish to visit Iraq and support the efforts of the Iraqi Embassy in Pakistan as well as efforts to develop bilateral relations.”
