Peshmerga offers help to preserve security in Kirkuk

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Peshmerga offered its readiness to send its forces to Kirkuk province to preserve security situation after the bloody violent acts that took place in Kirkuk on Wednesday.The Undersecretary of Peshmerga Ministry, Lieutenant General, Jabbar al-Yawer, declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”If we were asked to help in persevering security in Kirkuk province, we will meet the assistance request and support the security forces in Kirkuk province.””The Peshmerga forces are carrying out missions in which they preserve security in areas situated outside the province, though we did not receive any assistance request so far,” he added. \END\
