Iraq’s Embassy building inaugurated in Bahrain

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, inaugurated the Iraqi Embassy building in Bahrain.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “The inauguration ceremony was held on last Thursday marking the official opening of the new Iraqi Embassy in Bahrain,” noting that “Zebari and his Bahraini Counterpart, Shaikh, Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, as well as a number of Arab and foreign diplomatic officials attended the ceremony.”

“The Iraqi Ambassador and the two Ministers delivered speeches on the occasion expressing their delight on opening the diplomatic milestone which reflects Iraq’s centuries-old history and civilization,” the statement concluded.
