Premier of Kurdistan Region meets with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, met with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Ghassan al-Zawawi.

A statement by the Kurdistan Regional Government received by IraqiNews.com cited “Barzani received Zawawi on Thursday where they discussed the mutual relations and the means of promoting them.”

“Barzani congratulated Zawawi for receiving his new tasks as the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, wishing him all the best,” the statement added, noting that “Zawawi praised the role of Kurdistan Region in developing the mutual relations.”
