MP rules out postponing endorsing 2014 Budget law after parliamentary elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ali al-Allaq, of the State of Law Coalition ruled out voting on the 2014 Budget law after the parliamentary elections.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Budget is not sent to the parliament yet due to the disputes between Baghdad and Erbil over some issues such as the oil.”

He stressed the necessity of “Adherence by the government and the parliament to endorse it as soon as possible.”

“Postponing the endorsement of the Budget law after the parliamentary elections is a dangerous issue due to its necessity for the State and the citizens,” he concluded.
