Urgent – Gunmen control Tikrit municipal council

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb exploded on Onday targeting the Municipal Council in Tikrit City in Salah-il-Din province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “A car bombing took place on Monday noon at the entrance of Tikrit Municipal Council while two suicide bombers detonated their explosives inside the council to allow two other suicide bombers storm in the council and take hostages.”

“Police forces surround the building and clashes are still continuous between both sides,” the source concluded.
