Government unable to run security file, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Noura al-Bijari, of the Iraqiya Slate stated “The government is unable to run the security file.”

She stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The government is unable to run the security file due to the repeated security breaches that targeted the police stations and prisons,” noting that “We called to host the security officials but no one responded to our call.”

“The security forces proved their failure in facing the terrorist groups,” she added, noting that “The security officials are not replaced yet and the security file is still run by the General Commander of the Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki.”
