Senior security leaders launch security campaign in Rutba

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Chairman of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Abod Qanber, and the Commander of Ground Forces, Let. Gen. Ali Ghaidan, in cooperation with Anbar Police Commander, Hadi Razej, launched a security campaign of western Anbar on the background of killing the Commander of the Seventh Division, Mohamed Ahmed Khalif al-Karawi, in Rutba area.Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The security forces imposed strict security measures in Baghdadi and Haditha districts due to killing the Army Commander in Rutba area.”The Commander of the Seventh Division, Brigadier Mohamed Ahmed al-Karawi, was killed along with several of his soldiers while they were raiding a shelter filled with Improvised Explosive Devices, that belong to Qaeda organization, in Wadi Horan within Rutba area of western Anbar province. \END\
