Ministry of Peshmerga refuses to inaugurate headquarters at Tuz Khormato

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Peshmerga within Kurdistan Regional Government, Lieutenant General, Jabar al-Yawer, declared refusing the suggestion offered by Dejla Operations Command to inaugurate a headquarters at Tuz Khormato district.Yawer declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”After revealing information from Dejla OC, regarding its intention to inaugurate a headquarter in Tuz Khormato district, the Peshmerga Ministry send a letter to Dejla OC stipulates that they can not take this resolution since Tuz Khormato district is covered by the article (140) of the Iraqi constitution and it is must be run by a supreme committee of the Iraqi Army and Peshmerga Forces.””The request of Dejla OC is just a reaction towards the resolution of Tuz Khormato Local Council to join Kirkuk province,” the statement concluded. \END\
