Urgent – General Khalaf to replace late Karawi as new Commander for 7th Iraqi Army Division

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Defense appointed General, Qasim Mohamed Khalaf, as the new Commander for the Iraqi Army 7th Division that is deployed in Anbar province.

A security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The General Commander of the Armed Forces issued an administrative decree over nominating Khalaf to replace the late Commander of Division, Mohamed al-Karawi, who was killed along with a number of officers and soldiers in Anbar on last Saturday.”
