Elewi: Military operation in Anbar represents Iraqis’ fight against terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Karim Elewi of the Iraqi National Alliance described the military operations launched by the security forces in Anbar as “The battle of the Iraqi People against Terrorism.”

Elewi mentioned on his personal page on Facebook “The protest yard in Anbar became a shelter for the Qaeda leaders and the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria who have direct connection with the countries that support terrorism,” noting that “Some politicians are accused of supporting Qaeda and the ISIS which are responsible for shedding Iraqis’ blood.”

He added “The Military operation launched by our security forces in Anbar province is the battle of the Iraqi people against terrorism and its supporters.”
