Iraqi Navy Forces participates in Anbar military operations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Military sources reported to IraqiNews.com that “The Iraqi Navy Forces participated the Iraqi Army in the military operation against the armed groups to the west of Anbar province.”

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The Iraqi Navy Forces participated with speedy war boats in the military operation implemented by the Iraqi Army against the armed groups in Anbar province to secure the Euphrates River at the point of entering Iraq through the Syrian borders.”

“The Navy Forces started to remove the small bridges put on the river to prevent passage of the terrorists on these points,” the source added, noting that “The Navy forces also put deep hurdles into the river to prevent sneaking of the armed elements across the River.”

The source mentioned “These operations have been done with assist of the Border Guards Forces.”
