Awadi describes political calls to release Alwani as "Useless"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ihsan al-Awadi, of the State of Law Coalition described the political calls to release Ahmed al-Alwani, as “Useless.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), Awadi said “Alwan is wanted and was arrested while clashing with the security forces where no minister or MP has the authority to release those fighting the security forces because they do not represent the Iraqi judiciary to release him.”

Awadi wondered about “The persons killed, wounded by Alwani and his sectarian statements in the demonstrations yards,” noting that “The armed parade conducted by some persons in Anbar does not represent the tribes of Anbar, but the armed groups.”

“The tribes withdrew their sons from the demonstrations yards and the persons left there belong to al-Qaeda or mislead by some advantages,” he concluded.
