Wanted individuals killed, arrested southern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Three wanted individuals were killed while six others were arrested during a security operation conducted to the south of Mosul city, the center of Nineveh Province.

A source from the Command of the 3rd Division/ Federal Police reported to IraqiNews.com “An armed group affiliated to Qaeda Organization attacked on Thursday afternoon police check points and police stations located to the south of Mosul city,” noting that “A force from the Federal Police clashed with the gunmen and killed three of them.”

“Another force from the Division controlled a shelter for the Qaeda Organization located at the same area, arresting six terrorists and seizing explosive materials,” the source added.
