Motahidoun praises IA campaign against terrorism, calls to release Alwani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid al-Alwani, of Motahidoun Alliance praised the Iraqi Army campaign against terrorism in Anbar, calling to release Ahmed al-Alwani.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, Alwani stated “Releasing Alwani will motivate the tribes to combat terrorism,” noting that “Arresting Alwani at his residence is a violation to the tribes in Anbar.”

He called the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to “Respond to the demands of the tribes and releasing Alwani.”
