Shuweired expects endorsing general budget law next February

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Hassan Shuweired of the Iraqiya Slate expected the Parliament to endorse the General Budget law draft during next February.

Shuweired stated to IraqiNews.com “The Council of Ministers should settle the technical and political disputes over the budget law draft to reach the Parliament for a vote only.”

“If the budget law draft reached the Parliament from the Government incompletely, the budget law draft will be returned to the CoM which will prolong the duration of endorsing the budget,” he added.

According to Shuweired, “Most of the disputed points in the budget law draft have been settled inside the CoM but I expect the endorsement of the budget law by next February.”
