5 IA Elements killed, wounded in Jurf al-Sakher

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) Five Iraqi Army elements were killed or wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the north of Babel.The Commander of Babel Security Committee of Babel Provincial Council, Thamer Theban, declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The gunmen sneaked to Farisya area of Jif al-Sakher area and emplaced the IED at the entrance of the area.””The IED exploded when an Army patrol passed and resulted in killing two army elements and wounding three others as well as burning the vehicle of the army,” the source added.”The security forces attended the explosion scene transporting the dead bodies to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
