British Ambassador to Iraq – INA head discuss Anbar events

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaffery, hosted the British Ambassador to Iraq, Simon Collis, on Monday.

Jaffery’s media office reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The meeting tackled the current events in Anbar province where Jaffery assured that combating terrorism requires both political statements and military operations in order to provide the services for citizens and eliminate their suffer within a political stability.”

”Both sides touched on the political and security situation and the preparations of security forces in their battle against terrorism that aim at imposing control of law and returning the life to the normal situation,” the statement added.”

The British Ambassador assured that his country supports the military operation carried out by Iraqi security forces against terrorists and Britain offers its help to succeed the electrical process in Iraq,” the statement concluded.
