Reports over dismissal of Major General Birwari "Groundless" – Anti-Terrorism Media Advisor

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Anti-Terrorism Department assured that news reports over the dismissal of the Major General Fadil Birwari, are groundless.

The media advisor of the Anti-Terrorism Dept., Sameer al-Shiwaili, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The reports mentioned in the media outlets over dismissing Birwari are groundless and to negatively affect the soldiers,” noting that “Birwari conducted a military operation in Anbar on Tuesday morning and now still there.”
