Washington suggests training Iraqi Special Forces in Jordan – US Journal:

Follow-Up (IraqiNews.com) A US Journal revealed the suggestion of the US Government to resume training the Iraqi Special Forces on confronting terrorism in Jordan.

The Wall Street Journal pointed out “The US Government might resume training the Iraqi Special Forces in Jordan without necessity for taking the US Forces into Iraqi territories.”

The Journal mentioned that “The US officials discussed this suggestion with Iraqi officials, but they do not know if Baghdad will accept this suggestion or not.”

“The US officials prefer to conduct the training in Jordan where they have large capacities on confronting terrorism since the training in Jordan does not need extra expenses to guarantee the immunity of the US forces,” according to the Journal.

The US suggestion coincides with the fighting in Anbar province between the Iraqi Security Forces supported by the Tribal forces from one side and the gunmen on the other side.
