USA supports Hakim’s initiative over Anbar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The United States of America announced its support to the initiative of the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, over the situation in Anbar, reaffirming supporting the security operations against the terrorists in Anbar.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received the Deputy US Secretary of State, Brett Mackorck, at his office in Baghdad where they discussed the mutual relations in Iraq and Anbar in particular.”
