The Presidency of the Council of Ministers reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Maliki hosted a delegation includes members of the Kurdistani Alliance within the Iraqi Parliament at his office in Baghdad.”

”The meeting touched on the general budget and the revenues of oil exports as well as the commitment of Kurdistan Region in this regard in particular, where Maliki emphasized the necessity of coordination to reach settlements for the problematic issues as soon as possible,” the statement added.

Maliki explained that ”The budget was delayed due to the problems related to exporting the oil from Kurdistan Region to Turkey,” stressing that ”The Government of Kurdistan Region was supposed to submit several answers regarding some issues within few days, yet we did not receive any answers after three weeks of waiting.”
